European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Tengelmann-group, a retailer of food (Plus and Tengelmann), textiles (Kik) and do-it-yourself-products (OBI), wants to grow strongly in 2006 and create up to 5,000 new jobs, thereby investing € 422 billion. The company has been growing healthily in the recent past.
