Description

Cavaghan and Gray of Carlisle will be handling the new production of food for Asda. This means 100 jobs have been created at a food firm which was recently forced to cut more than 600 posts. The supermarket has chosen Cavaghan and Gray's parent company Northern Foods to supply a range of ready meals, after an 18-month tender process. The £30 million deal will also create 180 jobs at Northern Food sites in Grantham, Sheffield and Nottingham.
