Description
The leisure group Whitbread owned by Beefeater restaurants and David Lloyd health clubs is to cut its head office staff that currently numbers 800. All of the 200 to 250 jobs will be lost at its Luton headquaters. The cuts are a part of a review intended to streamline and modernise the group. In September 2005, 16 senior mangers departed from head office signalling the start of the changes.
