Description
Bleak conditions on the high street has forced Sunderland-based furniture chain Durham Pine collapsed into administration putting 200 jobs at risk. The 21-year-old retailer, which has 31 outlets will continue to trade while accountants from PricewaterhouseCoopers attempt to find a buyer for the business. The furniture sector has been hit hard by the decline in consumer confidence and the end of the housing market boom.
