European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Saint Gobain has announced the suppression of 181 jobs in France, including the closure of two sites, Montreuil (Seine-Saint Denis) and Courtenay (Loiret). This is the result of its plumbing activity due to strong competition from Asia and central Europe.
