Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French division of Lanxess announced on 24 August 2005 a redundancy programme in order to reduce its costs. This decision concerns the Lanxess's site of La Wantzenau (Bas-Rhin). The company will cut 103 jobs amongst the 402 workers of the site, which has lost €199 million since 1999.
