The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
SAS Sweden will dismiss 160 employees, mainly administrative workers employed in Stockholm and Arlanda. This redundancy plan is part of the cost-saving program Turnaround 2005, which has lead to the lay-off of 6,000 employees and savings of about SEK 6 billion.
