European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The car manufacturer Nissan based in Ávila (Castilla y Leon, Spain) and Barcelona (Catalonien, Spain) presented a job reduction plan for the early retirement of 116 employees. The company will relocate production to its centres in Barcelona and will relocate 120 labour from its Madrid centre to the Ávila plant. The centre in Madrid will stop activity.
