European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lietuvos avialinijos (LAL), national carrier of the Republic of Lithuania, which was privatised by LAL Investiciju Valdymas consortium in the beginning of August 2005, intends to dismiss about 12% of the employees. According to the administration of the company, about 87 workers will be dismissed by the end of 2005.
