European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 12 September 2005 the TV broadcasting company MTV3, started negotiations with the programme makers in order to cut 100 jobs. Part of this restructuring is carried out by direct dismissals and part by outsourcing the activities.
On 9 November 2005, MTV3 informed about the closed codetermination negotiation round. As a result of the negotiations, 15 employees in the news and current affairs programme production will be dismissed. 31 additional jobs will be cut through early-retirement schemes.
