European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 9 August 2005 the forest company Stora Enso started codetermination negotiations with the employees in order to cut 100 jobs. The restructuring is carried out to improve competitiveness. The jobs cuts will be carried out mainly by early retirement and redeployement measures.
