Description
On 5 September 2005 the state-owned printing and publishing company Edita started codetermination negotiations with its personnel in order to cut 140 jobs. The job cuts are carried out due to the heavy losses the company is making.
On 3 November 2005 the printing office belonging to Edita, Acta Print announced it will make 48 employees redundant at the Tampere unit. Altogether 78 jobs will be cut in the Acta Print Tampere unit due to the additional pension arrangements and termination of fixed-term contracts.
