Description
Sony Ericson will terminate the contract of 150-200 subcontracted consultants in Lund. Jan Svensson, general director for research and development, said that the company had had some difficulty in prospecting downward and upward trends and had hired external consultants to adapt more easily to the market viraitions. As result of today's more stable environment, the company will now review its cost structure and hire internally a number of employees corresponding to the job cuts. Sony Ericsson has currently 1,600 employees in Lund, among whom 600 consultants.
