European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 15 August 2005 the producer of copper tubes Outokumpu Pori Tube, formerly part of the Outokumpu copper company, started codetermination negotiations in order to cut 33 jobs. According to the company the restructuring measures are carried out due to the weakening demand of the product and the high raw copper costs.
