European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The catholic church will cut 300 jobs in its diocese in Mainz. As Germans are leaving the church, its revenues are falling. Job cuts concerning non-pastoral employees are thus inevitable. The diocese in Mainz will manage the cuts through fluctuation, nobody will be dismissed directly.
