Description

One of the largest foreign investors in Poland French Saint-Gobain Group invests €100 million in Upper Silesia (southern Poland) creating 200 new jobs. The Company builds a new flat glass production line at it’s existing factory in Dąbrowa Górnicza. The new investment amounts to approximately €100 million with the annual capacity of the new manufacturing unit of 180,000 metric tons. Production is due to start in mid-2006. Automotive glass will be mainly sold in the Polish market while the glass for the construction industry will be sold in other Eastern Europe countries.
