Description
When French Pernod Ricard was buying Wyborowa, its CEO Yves Flaissier said that this vodka will reach a 10% market share on the Polish market. Today, it has barely 2%. The French group acquired the company in 2001. Today it experiences labour dispute. The unions reject the plans of firing 120 people. Some market experts reckon that the French owner neglected Wyborowa brand name development; others say, that the present situation results from rapid changes on the alcoholic beverages market.
