Description
After 50 years of operation Sundora Foods, which has a factory in Pocklington, has put the 160 jobs under threat in East Yorkshire after the takeover of the fruit and nut company by its rival Whitworths. The new owner intends switching production to its factory at Irthlingborough in Northamptonshire. It is hoped that some of the 162 workers in East Yorkshire may be able to transfer to Whitworths.
