European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dental equipment producer KaVo will cut 253 jobs at three locations in Bavaria. Initially, the management had announced the loss of 700 jobs, but after negotiations with workers' representatives, that number was reduced. Direct dismissals shall be avoided, the losses shall be managed through early retirements and fluctuation.
