The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
As a part of its efforts to improve the education system, the free state of Bavaria will employ 700 teachers more during the next school term starting in September 2005. 4,300 teachers will be hired, 3,600 of them will replace retiring colleagues. 3,200 of the new teachers will be on unlimited contracts, 1,100 will have limited contracts.
