European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Danish company Vestas has announced the creation of a production plant in León (Castilla y León) creating 150 jobs. The investment will amount €10 million. The company has therefore asked for the subsequent public aids from the regional authorities which are 40% of the investment package. The company Vestas is specialised in the manufacture of aerogenerators and is the worldwide leader of the market with around 30% of market share.
