Description
A new Clinical Research Centre in Brno, joint venture of US group Mayo Clinic (Rochester) and Brno Hospital (nemocnice U svaté Anny) is to be opened in Brno. The centre, providing high level medical care and conducting research in cardiology, is scheduled to be completed by 2009. Capital costs reaching CZK 1.8 billion are to be covered by the state budget. Whereas 250 new jobs were announced in July 2005, the figure has now gone up to 460.
