European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The German company Praktiker has built their second hypermarket in Bulgaria. It was built in 6 months in the city of Plovdiv with an investment of €6 million. Praktiker will deal with more than 50,000 items and mainly with Bulgarian distributors. Praktiker is planning the establishment of a chain shop, consisting of 8 stores. The company has planned to open a new hypermarket in Varna (in July 2005) and a second hypermarket on the territory of Sofia (in October 2005).
