European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Management of Eurotunnel announced in June 2005 a redundancy programme involving 780 job losses. Jacques Gounon, the new managing director, explained that about 350 jobs would nevertheless be created within the restructuring programme. A large part of the suppressions will be dealt with through voluntary resignations (300).
