Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The infomedia company Elanders will cut 90 employees in Kungsbacka to maintain competitiveness. In a press release, the company explained that its activities were competing on a European market battered by overcapacity and price pressure. Elanders, which has currently 350 employees in Kungsbacka, has stressed its ambition to maintain its activities at the plant and to invest in a totally new organisation for the employees.
