Description

Thorn Spring, developed by HydroComp Ltd, is the new brand of bottled mineral water, which is bottled in a new factory close to Trun. More than €4 million were invested in the project. The plan is to produce 60 million litres of bottled water per year. The ambition of the owners is to become by 2007 one of the first 3 players on the Bulgarian mineral water market, and enter the EU market. There are 43 brands of mineral water on the local market, most of them Bulgarian. The usage of mineral water in the country is growing. In the first quarter of 2005 the consumption has reached 73 million litres, which is 13% more compared with the same period of 2004.
