The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Condor, an airline belonging to the Thomas Cook group, has announced the return to profits for 2005. The number of passengers has risen sharply and a new business model (more direct sales to passengers instead of selling capacity to other companies) seems to be efficient. As a result, Condor will hire more staff in the fall 2005.
