Description
Management of Group 4 Securitas announced the possible suppression of 116 jobs by 2006. In a first phase, 46 jobs will be suppressed by the end of 2005. Remaining dismissals in 2006 will depend on the evolution of the new projects of the group, but one speaks about 70 additional suppressions. Group 4 Falck, head office of Securitas which specialises in the transport of valuables, employs some 800 people in Belgium. Jobs should be cut at Grand-Bigard and Zaventem. Negotiations with union representatives concerning the first wave of dismissals will begin on 28 June 2005.
