Description
American company Computer Associates International, Inc. announced that it will create its first worldwide ‘Mainframe Centre of Excellence’ in Prague, representing a major expansion of its operations in the Czech Republic and a significant commitment to the mainframe computing market. The new centre with investment of €36 million, focusing on software development, validation and quality assurance for the mainframe computing environment, expects to hire and train more than 200 people by 2006, including talented students, mainframe experts and experienced managers. The first phase of recruitment is already underway, with a new staff of 100 expected to be in place by August 2005. The company chose Prague because of its highly qualified and educated workforce and strategic location in the heart of Europe.
