Description
On 13 June 2005, the producer of plastic parts for mobile phones Foxconn, started cooperation negotiations with the whole personnel. The company is planning to cut its workforce by 200 to 300 employees in order to achieve better competitiveness.
On 23 August 2005 the company announced the closure of its Hollola unit and decided to concentrate the production at the Lahti unit. According to the announcement, 290 employees will be made redundant.
