Description

DS Smith Group is constructing a new production plant in the Kutno Sub-Zone of Łódź Special Economic Zone. The envisaged investment outlays amount to €25 million. The plant, which takes up 6.3 hectares, will employ 250 workers. DS Smith is a leading producer of cardboard packaging and plastic boxes on the Polish market. The reason of choosing Kutno as the investment location is the proximity of potential markets in the west and south of Poland as well as the insufficient production capabilities of Kielce plant.
