Description

Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant in Visaginas intends to dismiss 276 employees. Seventy-six employees will be laid off by the end of 2005 and the rest by the end of 2006. Lithuania, following its integration to the EU, was obliged to decommission the first unit of Nuclear Power Plant by the end of 2005.
