European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Polestar Parnell, a printing company near Bath has announced the closure of its factory. This puts the jobs of over 400 workers at threat although the company has indicated that it is looking for ways to mitigate the losses. A statutory ninety day consultation period has started during which time such plans for re-employment will be considered.
