European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Producer of garden furniture Stelmet wants to invest over €100 million in its new factory. It has just employed 30 people. By the end of 2005 Stelmet will hire 80 more people, and 100 in 2006. Finally, 1,500 people are expected to work there. The company is planning to hire wood technologists, wood processing machines operators, computer specialists, fork lift trucks operators and administration workers.
