Description
Amberger Kaolinwerke Eduard Kick has announced that it will close and pull down its kaolin processing facility in Schnaittenbach, because there are significant deposits of kaolin underneath it. These deposits shall be extracted in the future, processing will be concentrated in a factory in neighbouring Hirschau. Management did not give a concrete time table, restructuring was announced to be carried out by 2008.
