European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Receivers called in by a mailing business in Devon and Cornwall have laid off another 150 staff. Ailec, which mails magazines to subscribers from centres in Roche and Plymouth, lost 150 jobs when it went into receivership on 4 May 2005. Now the receivers, who have been trying to bring buyers for the business, have laid off more staff at Roche. The receivers are expected to announce on 2 June 2005 whether 150 staff in Plymouth will keep their jobs.
