Description
Berlin's municipal railway company S-Bahn Berlin, a daughter of Deutsche Bahn , plans to cut 800 jobs by 2010, in order to become more competitive. In 2013, Berlin's government wants to introduce competition on its municipal railway network. The job losses shall be managed in a socially acceptable manner, that is without direct dismissals.
