European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Samsung Electronics Polska plans to boost the number of computer engineers in its R&D Centre in Warsaw by as much as 600 people. Samsung Software Development Centre has been operating in Warsaw since 2000. Today, it employs 106 workers, including 97 computer programmers. It is envisaged that the figure will increase by some additional 200 people further in 2005 and 500-700 over the long run.
