European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
University of Debrecen will cut 461 jobs in 2005. The redundancy plan will mostly affect technicians (292 people). The dismissals will affect 56 teachers and researchers, 46 administrators and laboratory technicians. During the restructuring the university plans to dismiss 38 employees from various departments, 18 language teachers and 11 librarians. 165 employees will benefit from early retirment measures.
