Description

Cristal Union and Champagne Céréales, two sugar-manufacturers co-operate on the construction of a new factory called Cristanol in Bazancourt-Bétheniville (Marne). This project is a continuation of a government decision taken in February 2005 to solicit orders from industrials in order to save energy. The objective is to triple the production of environmental fuels from cereals and sugar beets by the end of 2010 in France. The refinery will be operational in 2007 and will employ about one hundred people.
