European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Italian Marcegaglia will invest €17 million near Opole (Opolskie). The final number of employed will amount to 150 people. Marcegaglia purchased a production hall, where it will produce parts for white-goods industry. The company produces heat devices for fridges and steal constructions.
The main reasons for choosing Poland are the wide access to customer base as well as the rapid development of the industrial property sector. Proximity of highways was an additional advantage.
