Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The pharmaceutical group Johnson & Johnson will develop a new European distribution centre in Courcelles, aiming at centralising the distribution of medical tools. The €30 million investment will allow the creation of 150 jobs in the first phase. It is not excluded that other job creations will occur within a 4 year frame following the opening. The centre should be up and running from 2007.
