According to Unions sources, Augé Découpage, producer of intefaces for electronic components, is to cut 96 jobs out of 367 at its Besançon site. The dismissals are a part of a restructuring plan, which follows the opening of a subsidiary in Malaysia. This reduction comes with the suppression of the thirteenth month and short-time unemployments measures. The worldwide turnover of Augé Découpage felt by about 25% in the first quarter of 2005 in comparaison to the same period in 2004.
