European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Lithuanian sewing company Prienius announced its bankruptcy. Information was received by the Lithuanian labour exchange on the 1 April 2005. Since the sewing equipment used by the company is rather new, it is believed that some other company will buy it and create new job places for laid off workers.
