Description

Creditors submitted an application to liquidate the Zalahús joint-stock company. The company, manufacturing meat products, continuously had financial problems in the last years. Zalahús announced in March 2005 the dismissal of 84 workers. In April 2005, 200 employees gave their notice because the firm is in arrears with salaries. The local trade union plans to take legal steps and discusses the possibility of a demonstration.
