Description
The Hungarian Ministry of Defence has announced a restructuring plan on 1 April 2005. The Ministry plans to reduce costs through a reorganisation of its structure and the reduction of its departments (from 21 to 11). 432 employees will benefit from early retirement measures, 261 will be dismissed by 1 April 2005. In consequence of the reorganisation the number of dismissed employees will increase until December 2005 and will concern 1,297 persons.
