Description

Vossloh-Schwabe manufactures electrical and electronic components for the lighting industry. Due to overcapacity, to the rise of the energy prices, the strong position the euro, and the losses accumulated since 2001, the enterprise had to take measures. Part of the jobs will be cut, others will be relocated to the French site and to Eastern Europa. Since August 2002 the Vossloh-Schwabe-Gruppe belongs to the Japan Matsushita Electric Works. Vossloh-Schwabe employs worldwide some 1,450 people on 25 sites.
