European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Italian company Indesit Corporation, producer of cold-storage rooms, announced its relocation. The measure will affect 98 workers, whose contracts will be terminated by mutual agreement. Indesit management offers 1.5 month wages per year of service. The company decided the delocalisation of part of the production to Italy and Poland to meet cheaper labour force. Indesit currently employs 200 people.
