Description

Fraport, the airport operator based at Frankfurt/Main, is aiming to decrease its staffing costs. It therefore plans cuts in holiday pay and Christmas bonuses, reductions in the amount of leave allowed to employees, and longer working hours. The company has assured that it is not planning to cut monthly salaries or carry out redundancies. Rather, it is reported that at least 700 new jobs are to be created in Germany this year.
