Description
Kodak announced on 9 February 2005 that both laboratories of Toulouse and Nantes would be closed from May 2005. 160 jobs are targeted. The main reason is the considerable competition coming from digital camera manufacturers and the fact that 90 % of Kodak's activity is focused on reflex cameras products. In October 2004, the company had already announced the loss of 270 jobs at its Chalon-sur-SaƓne site.
